Negative Space Study, Leaves. Fall Art Projects

Our subject is leaves because we are in the fall season. And since we are in Florida and we get no changing of color in leaves in our landscape, I brought leaves to class and we focused on paining the negative space.

I completely forgot to take pictures in all the classes this week, I had some music playing on my phone and didn’t get to snap some. Here are a few examples from the last class.

We use the Arteza watercolor tubes in class, I really like them. I tried another brand that I really didnt like, Called “KingArt”. I didn’t like that they don’t blend very well and dry a bit too chalky. There are some i picked up at Burlington for about $4 for a set of 12, and i love them to use at home.
