Pool Day, Best Bikini for mom, Pool Essentials

IT’S POOL TIME!

Girls, I know it’s tough to find a great swim suit, unless you have an adorable body like my sister- anything looks good on her, its hard to find that perfect two piece. Especially - mom bod! I’ve been on a search of the perfect high waist, cute bottoms I can wear with even a T-shirt. I’ve been blessed considerably in the upper chest area, so it’s close to impossible to find a top that fits without alterations. I yet to find one. So, I have two that I alternate bottoms with. I’m going to link it all below. I’ve gotten a few on Amazon, I have prime, so it’s easy to return if it doesn’t fit and do additional shipping cost- win!

ANY ways, what you need at the pool is pretty simple, A good swim suit, water, an adorable floater, hair tie, sunscreen, flip flops, Turkish towel, snacks, and your good to go. and chapstick, you guys, don’t forget the chapstick of some sort. Is it just me? Or do other people get chapped lips in the sun? OK, I’m linking my favs below to Amazon.

I have this bottom and love it. It's been a few years now and it's my favorite, really does hold in a few problem areas.

I just got this green one, It's actually really flattering on.

I have this one bellow in the gingham print, it does run big, so size dowm. I usually wear a small/medium, But, I feel It could be snugger.

There's a striped one I have as well that's from Target, I searched the website and can't find it. I wonder if it's a Florida store thing. This one looks cute below, Just use the bottoms, these are great prices.

I do have a word of caution on Amazon- the brank CUPSHE - it's not for mom bods. I dont know what kind of bods to be honest. The high wasted bikinies are still really high legged. Ya know? Like my booty is exposed, but my tummy is covered. I dont know, not my style I guess. I do have one of those though, for tan line purposes.

Another place to try for a high wasted bikini bottom that actually looks good is Arie. I just foound one at Marshalls for like $3.99! They're blueish, I'll make them work.

Another thing... There's a black swim suit bottom I haev on my Instagram feed - It's actually those tummy control undies! I've used them as swim bottoms for about five years now. I love them. They are thicker then a swim suit so they really hold those mom parts in like nothing else you guys!

My favorite things to bring to the beach or pool is a Tukish Towel. They dry so fast.
