Breakfast Charcuterie Board

Oh my goodness! I love a charcuterie board. They really are all over the place now and everyone is using this concept of eating what ever is thrown together, beautifully on a board, for every occasion. And why not, it fun. This New Year we rented a beach house at the Oregon Coast and I did a Breakfast Charcuterie Board to ring in the new year. It was more like the entire table was covered with boards, and everyone had an amazing time.

So, tips on making a great Breakfast Charcuterie Board:

  • Cover the area you are setting up with parchment paper or gift wrap paper. I’ll link some bellow. I use non-bleached compostable one.

  • Choose what every one likes. Don’t do smoked salmon and bagels if only your spouse likes that sort of thing. Go with sausages, bacon, eggs, toast…

  • Have 4-5 types of different berries and fruit

  • Veggies - go with cucumbers and avocados. My family isn’t big on veggies first thing in the morning, but when you have those smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels, you gotta add cucumbers.

  • I always add a jam and butter with some biscuits and some type of breakfast pastry

  • You guys, whatever you add, just have fun with it. Your guests will love it.

  • AND… take a picture of your creation before everyone digs in! lol

We recently moved to Florida ( like, last week!), and yesterday we officially unpacked the last box and I wanted to just sit outside and enjoy my guys as we took out last time and had breakfast together. OH my gosh! I love Florida.

Have fun throwing food together on a board!!! It’s always a hit.

You can also use craft paper. I'll link it, ot you can get it at Micheals.

I'm going to link some of my favorite Charcutere / cheese Boards.

You gotta have cute little cheese knives, I would do these wood handle ones or a stainless steel handle.

If your outside and with insects flying around like we are in Florida, get these food tents!

These are fancy, I like them.
